Day Seven

Harness, take two. I had to head out early this morning upon waking (Layla would not take her lumps, vis foregoing her own walk last night. So off we went. I noticed it took her several blocks to pee, of course).

Had a little early trouble. I had to carry her some way, to make her realise what was going on. Traffic didn't help (graduation days at Columbia: every dickhead with a license seems to be trying to squeeze their idiot NJ-plated 4WD into Morningside Heights. Wankers).

Weather: Lovely.

(my phone's camera is starting to go, I think: everything's so purple).

Walk? Also lovely. We found ourselves out during dog peak-hour, so Layla was beset by any number of sniffing and play opportunities.

(you probably can't see all the dogs in the photo - they're there, though!)

I still haven't worked out what this is, though (it's in the park; we walk past it most days).

Layla still pulls but it's far less of a problem, now. She's in no danger of hurting herself, and I have more of the power in the walking relationship again.
